About Our Group

Are you concerned about your teen? Navigating life is already a challenge without the setbacks many of us face during this key stage of life.

Timber Bay in Brooklyn Center mentors and provides programs for Middle School students, High School students, and parents year round. This is accomplished during the school year in our after school programs and during the summer months at our camp, on out of town trips, and in-town social events.

How to join: Reach out to Paul Thyren, Area Director, if your student would like to join us.

A message from Paul:

Timber Bay has been in Brooklyn Center as a BCHS Community Partner since 2011. Our trained staff often meet students in Middle School and stay connected until graduation. Statistics collected by the school show great improvement with those who attend our programs and a high percentage go on to further their education after high school. Also, because of life skills they learn, they are better prepared for the challenges of today and for their future.
